Lasia Spinosa also known as Kohila is a stout, marshy plant with a creeping spiny rhizome. The tender leaves (Kohila Dalu) and rhizomes are preserved in brine and used as a vegetable. It is recommended for a variety of diseases in Ayurvedic medicine.
