Dried White Chillies (Sun-Dried Chillies) also known as Butter Chillie is often used as a flavoury side dish with rice and curry.

The locals pick green chillies and soak them in salt water before drying in the sun. The resulting chillies turn white/yellow with more moisture than most dried chillies. They have a salty spicy flavour.
